Tuesday somewhere in January, 2 seats 2 few is home alone while Tatie is in The US of A, she seems to have been away ages not that I can tell her that as I dont want her to feel any more homesick than she already does. So whilst she was away I have decorated her dining room so when she gets back she will get a real suprise. We should also have a new front door as the dog Ziggy chewed the one that is on at the moment when he was a pup.
She will also see that we have new lights outdside our front and back doors and that I have got on quite well providing the chickens we are yet to purchase with a safe environment, ie fencing.
We decided to keep some chikens for their eggs as you cant really beat them. I love this timeof the year,its cold sure but the buds are coming up in the garden th e days are getting longer by about three minutes each day and you can start planting seeds. I have a load to plant in feb and am in desperate need for a green house.
So today the kitchen studio rang and gave a date for installation, the Joiner rang to tell me when he was fitting the front door and the tv people rangb to say my telly was arriving on friday at last. All good things come to he who waits.
the boys are happy as the village has a bus where they can hang out an chill with their mates and it has ciomputers and video games, the boys seemed to enjoy it . Joe did well with his cake taht he made for food tech and luke made a wicked crumble this week.
The best bit of the day was Man Utd won 5 0 against west brom and are three points clear at the top of the leaugue. Everton on Saturday and hopefully another win.

New Year, New Era, New Dawn
New Year is upon us and I havent wrote anything in thyis blog for a while now so I thought it was catch up time. I love this time of year, christmas is behind us and its like a fresh start. Its cold sure, and wet and we all wish for warmer climates, but it makes you feel alive.
Christmas was good the kids got spoilt as usual and got more than they asked for. Kate and I actually for the first time in a long time bought each other a christmas present I bought Kate a pair of Paul Smith shoes shes wanted forever and I got a new phone and a pair of loungers (like PJs but u dont wear them for bed. New year was good too had friends round had a really nice meal and lots to drink too many varients and I suffered the next day, I was in bed till 3.
We decided New Year New Kitchen, so we were just about to place an order with B&Q and then we got a call saying dont buy yet as they were having a sale, so we waited went in to order and we were gutted when they reqouted our original quote and upped all the prices so we were only 500 pounds better off they were advertising 50% off kitchens and 50% off free fitting and 15% off everything else, I told them they had lost our business and we walked. They then rang up that evening to offer us as a good will gesture further reductions but it was nowhere near what we thought we should have saved and it too late then we had already agreed that we couldnt have it out of principle. So the hunt was on for a new supplier we are now going with a local design studio who we are happy with, so B&Q are banned in our house.
we dont do things by half in our house not happy with a new kitchen, we are having a new downstairs toilet and front door, new carpet on the stairs and landing and Cardeen on the flooring throughout the hall and kitchen, be glad when its March.
Looking for a greenhouse at the moment I have got loads of seeds for plants to plant this spring and I am going to grow my own veg in my veg patch that I have created. I am also going to get an area secure so we can have some chickens.
Just a few plans then to keep busy still looking for a job not much about and more people looking in these times. Kate is away in America for two weeks which is the longest she has been away and we are all missing her.
Great new music at the moment especially white lies who were on radio live lounge last week, we have tickets for The Script in February which will be awsome the boys are looking forward to it.
